Jane of All the Luck in the World is at it again! I love how she has given these vintage blankets in new life.

What may appear at first glance to be an unconventional armoire is actually a set of bookcases attached along one side. Opened, it’s a compact, self-contained innovative crafts or office nook. Closed, it’s far more decorative than any tidied-up desk, without the slightest hint of its contents. A totally and completely brilliant idea! To get the how-to’s visit Martha Stewart.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Good morning all! I’ve been slammed with freelance work and so have had to take a bit of a hiatus from blogging. I was able to take a glance at some of my favorite blogs and came across a new blog I absolutely love: Pink Bow. I love how Paula takes us on photographic adventures to places she visits in her life. The photographs are stunning. I love the rich teals, grays and pinks. It makes me wish I could tag along!

I’ve been so busy with Halloween I haven’t even had a chance to think about fall fashion other than I’m completely out of fashion!! We had a super fun Halloween soiree in the neighborhood last night and all the gals where decked out in their “tall” boots. So this morning, I decided to do a little virtual shopping for some boots of my own. Well I found them and I’m completely obsessed! I love these Hunter “Andora” Wedge Rubber Boots. I’m a bit vertical challenged (standing tall at 5’1″) so when I saw these boots, I fell head over heals in love. My biggest challenge will be to see if I can actually wait until Christmas Day to wear them. In the meantime, I will be scouring the internet to try and see if I can’t score them on sale. Any tips?

Oh my what a day… heck what a week/month. Where has the time gone?! It’s Friday night and I’m just carving out the time to say “Howdy” to all of you. I love Halloween but having all this candy in my house is killing me. I should say what’s left of the candy that was meant for the Trick-o-Treaters on Sunday. I can’t believe I have to go the store tomorrow and restock. I bought a “value” bag of assorted chocolates and have eaten all the Butterfingers. Yep, that’s right all of them! I should just tape all the wrappers to my body and go as a giant Butterfinger! OR I could also go as an awkward teenager as all that chocolate and sugar has given me so many pimples on my face. I’m envisioning the costume right now… big nerdy glasses, white splotches of OXY 10 on my pimples and hair in mishap pony tails.
Let’s move onto brighter subjects and chat about the above photos by the super talented Suzonne Stirling. I love how she tricks out these thrift store finds to create ghoulish treasures. Check out her blog, Urban Comfort to find out how she transformed these beauties.
Well, I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Are you dressing up? Going to big parties or a small gathering? Be safe, be silly and have fun!

I know it’s hard to switch gears and think about spring fashion as we’ve barley begun winter, but seriously… what do you all think of Lauren Moffatt’s spring 2011 collection, entitled “The Honeymooner“?

I love the mix of vintage fabrics, found objects and new materials Annabelle uses to create all these handmade goodies. Her shop, Three Red Apples can be found on Etsy.

I love the idea of turning china into wall art. How about you?

and completely blushing! The BonBon Rose Girls have featured me on their blog. I’m a huge fan so when they sent over the email letting me know they had selected me I couldn’t contain my excitement. I just love their blog, they feature everything from fashion to decor to humorous stories about the trials and tribulations of life. Oh and the fact that they are best friends that live in different states is the icing on the cake. What a great way to stay in touch and make some more friends along the way.
Megan and Kristin, you guys ROCK and thank you so much for the blog ♥
