I’m absolutely smitten over both of these photos. The perfume bottle is to die for adorable, from Anthro of course! In the below photo, there is so much vintage yumminess going on. I love all the items but I WANT that area rug! How bout you, what colors and photos have been inspiring you?

I’m at it again! I have a friend that’s having a baby soon and I thought it would be fun to crochet a handmade gift for the little guy. Above is a picture of a little practice piece I worked on before I took a stab at the real thing. Have any of you tried the ripple stitch? I have to say, once I got the hang of it, it was easy. It was a friend’s birthday last week and she just loves crocheting. She has been really supportive of my new obsession so I decided to crochet her a little gift pouch with a flower. What do you guys think?! It was really easy to whip up and I love the fact it could be used again and again.

Do you ever feel like your spice drawer or wall is a complete explosion of miss marked or hard to read spices? I’m a huge fan of reusing spice jars but my jars are a disaster! So, I’ve been spending the last couple of days hang’in with my daughter in the bathroom and reading a ton of books and drinking a ton of juice! Yes, you guess it, we are in the midst of potty training. So I will have to keep this blog post short and sweet.


I just love this DIY project. It’s a great way to use all those fabric scraps and it makes a present look so dang cute. The picture and idea came from a super adorable blog full of tons of great ideas and DIY projects called Craftberry Bush.

Happy Monday to all of you. I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend. We spent ours in the snow. Yes, that’s right, we drove to go play in the snow. It was a rainny, cold weekend in San Diego but that meant snow in the local mountains. I know it seems so bizarre, but for us Southern Californian’s it’s a blast. We load up the car with our boogie boards and hit the hills! I will try to get my act together and send some pictures later on today.

I also finished rebranding a number of things for the client, Etincelle Creative Studio. Marie of Etincelle Creative Studio was such a joy to work with. The redesign included her blog which is such a wonderful read. Chalk full of fabulous finds and great tips. I also worked on a button and banner for her Etsy shop of the same name. In her shop you’ll find beautifully handmade purses, handbags, jewelry & home decor items.
