{ Your my favorite Peep }

DIY Chocolate Covered Peeps
I ❤ peeps. They are without a doubt my favorite Easter candy. When they start to stock the shelves at the stores with those little guys my heat skips a beat! Thank goodness I’m usually with one of my kiddos so I’m able to constraint myself and not load up my cart with the little guys. Leigh Anne of Your Homebased Mom has created this great little DIY goodie. Isn’t it totally cute and yummy?

{ i ♥ mod podge! }

DIY Mod Podge Projects
Can I just express my ♥ for mod podge?! I know it sounds silly but I just love how it can transform objects in just a matter of minutes. All of these items were things that I wasn’t really grov’in on or just didn’t fit the style of my daughters room. I bought a pack of scrapbook paper and voila instant cuteness!

I also had fun experimenting with trying to add some depth to the projects. I busted out my sewing machine and used a couple of different settings as well as cutting out some large flowers and adding them to simple backgrounds. How about you… mod podge anything lately ; )

{ my little project while i was on vacay… }

Crocheted Flower - To Be Charmed
With the 5+ hours of travel time it took us to get from San Diego to Tampa FL I decided to take it upon myself to learn a new project. Cheryl of the blog, FlowerCottageGirl sent me a pattern to test a couple weeks prior and can I say I love the pattern! I knocked out a couple of these before we landed.
Crocheted Flower Headband - To Be Charmed
Katelyn (my daughter who’s 3) and my niece Sydney (on the left who’s 6), wore these the whole time we where in Florida. I wasn’t sure how long it would last in my daughter’s hair as she has a tendency to yank out anything that gets attached to her hair but once on she completely forgets about it. The pattern is super easy to follow, I highly recommend going on over to to her Etsy Shop and giving it a go. They make a perfect Easter gift or accessory to any little gals Easter outfit. I did make a slight change to the width of the band and would be happy to go give you the info just comment in the blog if interested in the modification.
