I’m just loving these photos from the blog Fjeldborg. What’s inspiring you these days?

um seriously how divine is this kitchen? i love the little nooks in the upper left corner for the cake stands. and the rolling pins on display… dreamy. it’s the cooking set for the Martha Stewart show. [photo via remodelista]

Ahhh, finally summer is here and we had our first beach day! The weather has been so cold and over cast here that I have yet to go to the beach and it’s 15 minutes from my house. But Sunday was a whole different story. We woke up to the sun and decided to head down to the Imperial Beach Sand Castle Competition. It was such a fun day. The kids had a blast. We saw so many amazing projects and played on the beach. Oh and the food… we had our fair share of trash food which included some super yummy funnel cake.

I’m simply amazed by the creativity you all have. Every day I come across a new DIY project that completely inspires me. This DIY project comes from Kim of the blog, The Inadvertent Farmer. How beautiful is this bag? Click here for the tutorial. Hmmm I think I may need to spend some quality time cleaning out my husbands closet in hopes to find an old xtra large wool sweater!
I’m totally loving the Dansih furniture and accessory store House Doctor. These are some images from their new “Moments” catalog.

DIY Personalized Chalkboard Clips
I love this project because it takes almost no time at all to do. It’s very simple, straight forward and if you would like them to stick to your fridge you can just add a magnet to the back of the clip. You could also use them in a pantry or baby’s room to help organize baskets and contains. The possibilities are endless!

Howdy All, I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend. I came across this super cool DIY project from Zakka Life which will utilize all of that Japanese Masking tape you’ve bought! I love it because it’s so easy and they really dress up a goodie bag. Below is the tutorial.

Good morning all! I’m so completely inspired by these two feature wall makeovers. The first one was created by the fashionista Kate over at Centsational Girl and the second one was created by the super handy and very talented Courtney of Living Life Out Loud.

Howdy All! I’m back after a super fun family vacation. I went back to visit my home state of Minnesota and hung with family and friends. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. I feel rejuvenated, refreshed and ready to get back to craft’in and blog’in!

While on vacation I received these lovely photo’s from Kate who reupholstered her office chair. It looks totally fabulous. Thank you so much for sharing Kate. She also has a great store front full of super cute handmade bags, purses, makeup bags, and other accessories. Below is just a glimpse into all the items she has made and are for sale on her web site.
