Good morning lovies!
I’ve been a bit busy these days between taking care of my kiddos and working on a new blog design for a client that it’s left me little time to blog. I miss you all of you and can’t wait to do the big reveal on the blog design. The design files have been handed off to the super talented Libby to code. I will post about the blog as soon as it’s complete. During bits of down time I’ve been working on sprucing up my home. Adding window treatments, swapping out pillows and finally hanging things on the walls of my daughters room! How about all of you? What type of projects have you been working on?

What originally caught my eye was the composition of the first photograph. Beautiful cashmere throw pillows on an amazing vintage sofa. Then I found out these gorgeous throw pilllows were for sale! They are handmade by Angella Eisman. Her storefront is called That Funky Boutique. She makes an assortment of throw & floor pillows as well as scarfs. Oh and if you weren’t already inspired by her shop check out her blog. She’s so amazing talented! I’m really not sure when she has the time to sleep

Good morning all! The sun is creeping over the mountain and it’s a beautiful scene here up in the hills of San Diego. Well I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was filled with family, fun and some much needed rest.

If you haven’t already noticed, I’m a bit obsessed with vintage pieces given a modern twist. I feel that it’s so inspiring to bring old objects back to life. I would love to be able to find a couple of vintage pieces for my daughters room but I’m having a hard time finding a place that would carry such such a thing. I’ve hit a couple of Goodwill Stores and not only is it slim pick’ins but I just can’t get over the smell! Any tips?

Good Morning All! Wow, this week is a complete blur to me! I hope you guys are having a fabulous Friday. Anything fun planned for the weekend? Unfortunately, here, in not-so-sunny San Diego we are socked in. May Gray is in full force and I’m craving the sun. So I thought I’d brighten my day and hopefully yours with some eye candy from the Gardenhouse. The Gardenhouse is located in West Palm Beach, Florida and they take vintage furnishings and give them a modern twist. Enjoy!

Okay first off, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I thought I would kick off our Monday morning with some serious inspiration! Oh my gosh, I’m so totally head-over-heals in love with every detail the woman behind Petits Détails does. I love all the vintage fabrics and the detail in the cross-stitch is amazing. The above photography was taken by her and she has done such a great job styling each shot, with the vintage notions etc. in the background.

{claire coles – embroidery on ceramics and vintage wall paper}

There are not words to express how I felt the first time I saw Claire Coles embroidery work on ceramics and vintage wall paper. I was awe struck. Her illustrations are so delicate but then there is this rawness with the way she embroiders. The combinations is simply amazing. I really can’t image the amount of time and energy that must go into each piece of artwork. What are your impressions and thoughts?

Hi All! I hope everyone’s weekend is going well. I’ve been inspired! I was on the website, Houzz (a really fun site for Interior Design) and was so inspired by an interview they had with Maria of the blog Dreamy Whites who has transformed her modular home into a charming old farm house. To achieve this look they added 100 year old ceiling tin to the living room recessed ceiling area. They also added trim around the windows and doorways. The decor is amazing. I love the clock as the focal point over the fireplace mantel. The crystal chandlers add so much and all the beautiful vintage finds. Enjoy!

These pillow cases from Rose Hip’s on Etsy are a slice of heaven. They are so bright and cheery. I think I’ve been romanced. How about you?
