I absolutely adore these illustrations created by Eva Juliet. The colors and sayings speak volumes to me. I’m having such a hard time trying to decide which one to purchase. I love the “Welcome to My Place” illustration and have the perfect little spot for it. But then there’s the “Choose Joy” illustration which reminds me of the Holiday’s and how I really do need to “Choose Joy” because I find that time of year so completely overwhelming. And the last one, “Take a Sip of Creativity“, which draws on my desire to be creative each and every day. Oh, and these aren’t even the ones that took me to her Etsy shop. This is the one that originally caught my eye. And what about this one? Hmm, the decisions, which one would you choose?

Happy Friday Everyone! I’m really looking forward to this weekend. We have friends coming in from out of town and it’s suppose to be sunny and warm all weekend long. Look out beach, here we come How about you all? Any fun plans for the weekend?

I absolutely love the simplicity of this DIY project found via How About Orange created by Babalisme. All you need is a couple of permanent markers and some ziplock bags and you can create some adorable handmade bags.

Just one more super talented designing duo to add to my Mother’s Day wish list.
Angus and Celeste produce nothing less than pure objects of desire. The time and attention to detail involved in every object is amazing. The brilliance of the porcelain is luminous and the illustrations are irresistibly tactile. I hope you all enjoy these photos as much as I do. Which is your favorite? Would you dare to buy porcelain bracelets? They are to die for adorable but how do you keep from breaking them?!

{claire coles – embroidery on ceramics and vintage wall paper}

There are not words to express how I felt the first time I saw Claire Coles embroidery work on ceramics and vintage wall paper. I was awe struck. Her illustrations are so delicate but then there is this rawness with the way she embroiders. The combinations is simply amazing. I really can’t image the amount of time and energy that must go into each piece of artwork. What are your impressions and thoughts?

Happy Friday everyone! Wow, and I mean wow, where did this week go?!! I can’t believe today is Friday. This week just flew by. And what a super fun week it was, we spent time at the beach and being able to hang out with those we don’t normally get to see during the week days because their kiddos are in school.

I’ve found another great Esty artist, Jane Foster. She creates her own screen prints. Her influence, mid-century Scandinavian designers. These designs can be found on fabric, paper and ceramics. I just love the bright colors and playful designs.

Maiko Kuzunishi brings the two dimensional world of paper into 3d with these clocks created out of paper. How beautiful are these illustations? How clever is this concept? And how perfect is the price? The paper clocks are priced between $28 – $30. The colors she uses in her illustration are so soft and delicate. The die-cut doily shaped clocks are to die for!
