{ DIY – Tissue Paper Flowers + Candle = Mother’s Day Gift }
Good morning all! I hope everyone had a great weekend. It’s Monday and I can’t believe Mother’s Day will be here in less than two weeks. I have a whole bunch of really fun DIY gift giving projects in store for over the next couple of weeks and thought this super easy one would be perfect to kick start your Monday 
I love giving candles and what I love about this DIY project is that you’ve done something by hand which gives it that personalized touch for that very special person in your life… MOM. So select a candle, some tissue paper (something that you know will go with your mom/mother-in-law’s decor) and a glass container and let’s get started!
Tissue Paper Flower Tutorial
The candle I used for this project was one I received in the mail from Jo Malone. The fragrances at Jo Malone are amazing and I’m a huge fan of their Orange Blossom line. The scent of this candle is Vanilla & Star Anise. At first glance of the package I thought I wouldn’t like the smell of this candle because I relate anise with licorice and I feel the smell of vanilla can be over powering. This candle doesn’t smell at all like licorice. It’s a nice light combination of sweet vanilla with a touch of spice from the star anise.
