{ How to Remove Permanent Marker Ink from a Sofa }
Good morning all! I have been a bit challenged with balance lately. My life keeps throwing me curve balls and I feel like I’m in a bit of a strike out mode. Ever feel this way? Unfortunately, my family has taken the brunt of it so I took yesterday off to just hang with the kids and spent the evening with my hubby ![]()

There's nothing better than building a good fort!
My biggest challenge has been the transition from stay-at-home mom to going back to work part-time. How do you balance it all? Kids, husband, friends, work and household responsibilities? I’ve had a babysitter that comes once or twice a week in the past but I’ve been able to be very flexible with them and work around their schedule. Now I need someone that is able to commit to the days I need and this has been the biggest challenge. Without a babysitter, I am working while trying to watch my kiddos and this equals disaster! Last week, my daughter Katelyn, who is 2, decided to color with washable (thank goodness) marker the stairs. I was able to catch her at step three! She also decided to marker a wall and stamp and glitter the carpet! She’s very stealth, one minute I feel like she’s right by my side and the next I find her bedazzling a new part of the house which leads me to this post from Pancakes and Frenchfries in which she comes into her living room to find her son who has decided their sofa and love seat needed a little pizazz:

thankfully she was able to get it out so that it looks like this:

In her post she leaves a detailed description as to how she gets the permanent marker out of her sofa. I seriously can’t believe she was able to get it out and I thank her for giving us all this great infomation. I do have a little Picaso on my hands and I’m sure, one day I will be revisiting this post for some tips. As for the blog, Pancakes and Frenchfries, it’s a delight to read. She’s an amazing writer with tons wit, a wealth of information and a willingness to share a little bit of her life with us. I hope you enjoy her blog, Pancakes and Frenchfries, as much I do.
Oh and there has been a request for a link to the Honey Do List free download: Here’s the link
