{ DIY – From Drab to Fab! }

I treated myself to a cute little top in a boutique store and they wrapped the top in this really cute tissue paper. I thought, I have to save this and make something with it! So there you go. Busted out the Mod Podge, glue gun, and threw in a little moss and voila a zen moment! Using decorative tissue paper is a great way to spruce up an old frame. And placing the candle in the glass container with the moss really dresses it up. I hope you enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed putting it together!

brilliant idea! love it
Wow!! That looks fantastic! I’ve never used Mod Podge before, do you just glue the tissue paper to the frame and then coat it?
Thanks so much for all the compliments! They look even better in person.
Mod Podge – 1st paint on the Mod Podge (just enough to coat the surface) onto the item that you would like to decorate. Then add tissue. I use a sponge brush when working with Mod Podge. I love the stuff. Look out pretty soon you will be Mod Podgin everything!
Thanks for the info! I’ll definitely be trying it out. I do have a bottle of Mod Podge that my FMIL gave to me, and plenty of pretty paper laying around!
